Ruediger Suess works today as a senior strategy analyst bridging the technology and the economic world at the department of Innovation, Technology Transfer and Scientific Infrastructures in the Foresight and Trend Analyses Group at DLR. His tasks range from identifying and analyzing new technologies, emerging markets by using strategic foresight for creating impact for strategy decision makers. Before he worked at DLR’s Think Tank and strategy departments at DLR on innovation eco systems and strategic projects for the executive board f. ex coordination the founding of research institutes, working at corporate strategy, strategic portfolio management activities, or identifying and evaluating internal cross-sectoral ideas for innovation-enabling projects. He was involved in the Master’s program “Information and Knowledge Strategy” at Columbia University New York as a capstone sponsor and is today as a lecturer in the course on “science of communities and innovation networks”. Before DLR, Ruediger worked as a consultant at Accenture in 'financial services' and at DXC Technology (former CSC) in the ‘b2b automotive/aerospace industrial supply chain” practice. He holds an aerospace engineering diploma’s degree from the University of Stuttgart, Germany and a Master’s degree in Strategic Management from HEC Paris, France.
